Greetings, my name is Liz Herrmann a Cincinnati, Ohio-based working artist. My professional journey began with a  BA in education from the College of Mount Saint Joseph. Ultimately, my career path from educator to creative shifted when I became a mom of three amazing children. Venturing into decorative painting, also known as faux finishing, I began experimenting in the homes of brave friends and family, gradually building experience and establishing recognition in the industry. Today, my artistic style adorns homes and businesses throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. 

Painting allows me to immerse myself into a world filled with only vibrant hues. This vision is clearly reflected in my bold, colorful, palette where I play with acrylic textures, paper and mixed media techniques. Each piece I craft intuitively radiates love, curiosity and a touch of apprehension. The process is an adventure of exploration and discovery. Quite often I’m bewildered with what emerges. Amidst this unpredictability, one constant remains, my commitment to the use of color.
